BEARIZONA
This gallery brings together photos from our time exploring Bearizona Wildlife Park in Williams, Arizona. Split between a three-mile drive-thru route wound through the Ponderosa Pine forest and a walk-about tour of Fort Bearizona, the park offers a unique opportunity to see North American wildlife up close without the usual heavy barriers of a traditional zoo.
From the safety of the vehicle, we were able to watch majestic bison, moose, wolves, and black bears roaming freely through the trees. On foot, winding paths brought us face-to-face with everything from playful otters to grizzly bears and jaguars.
What I appreciate most about this collection is how the park's design allows the animals to truly blend into their surroundings. Whether it’s a bear lounging or an otter playing in the pond, these shots catch the wildlife looking right at home in their natural environment.
